...............Mossberg 930 SPX. I picked it up this past Thursday.
I have been wanting a semi-auto shotgun for some time now. And with alot of internet researching, the SPX is the one I decided on. For the money, it came loaded with the most features. LPA ghost ring sights ($250 sights), 3 shot mag tube extension, picatinny rail on receiver, etc. There were some QC issues a couple years back, but Mossberg has done a pretty decent job of addressing those issues.
The only additions I have made so far is a barrel/magazine clamp and a Limb Saver recoil pad. I plan on getting a night sight to replace the red fiber optic sight up front. And there are now a couple different operating handles available. The one that is on there is ok, but a tad small. Especially if needed for quick engagement while under stress.
I have not had a chance to shoot it yet, due to the crappy weather in my area over the past few days. But I am hoping to hit the range within the next couple of weeks. I'll be sure to post a report if any of you guys are interested.
Thanks for looking/reading.
