Got The TRP back
Had a Smith bead blast the trigger, put a Dawson Precision fiber optic front sight on( kicks ass ) and he changed out the recoil spring which he said needed replacing .. I also put a differant set of grips on it

Haven't gotten it to the range ,,maybe today....
The new Front sight is awesome though ,,,very easy to see

I have a fiber optic on my Para 1911 and love it. Been thinking about putting one on my carry gun.

Yeah the orange front is awesome and so easy to see ,,,I have the TRUGLO's on my G17 which I made the mistake of Green front orange rears,,should be the opposite as you can't see the front sight for crap,,,actually wish they were all orange,,,the green may be brighter as a night sight but they suck as a daytime fiber optic...obviously the 1911's front sight is orange

In a defensive situation I still think I'd get confused and actually swing it at someone rather than pull the trigger
