What have you guys got planned for the weekend?
It's going to be 103 to 105 degrees in my area for a while, so my plans involve NOT staying outside for too long!

David, your humidity in Tennessee might be about as bad as mine... the car digital temp display was showing 107° F this afternoon late... factor in the humidity level and the "sensed" temperature is worse. I dearly love air conditioning.

Going shopping today for some camping stuff. The wife and daughter both have wild hairs up the asses and want to start camping.
I'm gonna try to weasle a PS3 out of the wifes pocketbook (yes, she controls the fuckin money) since my latest (and 4th I might add) XBOX 360 crapped out on me last week!
Then going into the city (Chicago) to visit family and cookout tomorrow.

I do sympathize with your plight... not only ONE but TWO females have collectively become obsessed with the great outdoors... there's got to be some movie or somethin' they've been exposed to here. Well, doesn't sound like you have much choice in this matter, you've simply been outvoted... and whoever said marriage was a democracy was dead wrong.
First rule of "What To Take" on a camping expedition is a firearm!!! :D
That said, there is probably only one thing that will get you out of this trek into the heart of the wilderness... ummm... guess there's only one way to say it... Women do not need to to go camping at "certain" times of the month... that is fact... there are large carnivore animals out there and they are highly attracted to and agitated by certain scents. Many documented cases exist of attacks on females while camping during their said "time of the month". I remember vividly a story of one woman dragged out of a tent at night (everybody was asleep) and devoured by a bear. There was another story of a woman being attacked by a mountain lion. Just the facts here, sir... just the facts.

You were kidding, huh???
:toofunny:
That was a joke... :poke: I knew you were only kidding... uhhh... right?
Actually, this fact might account for the tendency in primitive cultures to shun the females during their "time of the month"... i.e.- all the menustrating women have to stay and sleep in a separate place, such as a hut where only they are allowed... perhaps the men folks know about the "big carnivore comes in the middle of the night sniffin' around for a tasty meal" deal???
Where's Wayne the Headhunter...??? He's our resident anthropologist... he might know about this... Hey, Wayne... where are ya???
