I bought a Phillips "Senseo" coffee machine last year, and have not even used our regular coffee pot since! Tastes like REAL, Starbucks-type coffee!

I have been on a half-half and honey kick. Thats how I make my coffee. How do you "take it"?

How much are they about? I just like a little bit more sugar than the avg. joe, and a tiny bit of cream, just enough to change the color from black to caramel:limp:

You can get a Senseo machine for about $50 at Wally-world. They come with like 40 coffee pods too!

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2608418

They do not cost this much in-store!

A bag of 18 pods is $3.99 and makes 8-10 cups depending on the cup size. At about .40-50 a cup, thats not bad considering a regular 16 oz. Starbucks cup is $2++

Another thing I like about the SENSEO machines, is they have won the war of "Pod" coffee makers! I have seen 2-3 others come and go since I bought this machine. I think the reason Senseo has stayed around is the quality of the coffee itself. It is imported from Belgium and not some cheap ass Foldgers type brand!

If you want a REAL KICK in the ASS, try this:

You can't buy this EXTRA DARK brand coffee in the US. I get mone off E-Bay! Its the best home brew coffee I have ever had!

Black, Solo Negro, Nothing in it! As it should be

I have a CuisineArt Grind and Brew. It grinds the fresh beans and makes the coffee all in one machine and is programable so I set it up at night and the coffee is fesh when I wake up. If I do not use whole beans and fresh grind them I use Yuban Dark Roast or Louisianne with Chicory

Black, rich, strong flavor, fresh ground, dripped one cup at a time. My regular is Starbucks French Roast beans. I buy a 2 lb bag at BJ's Wholesale club, and have one of those bag-sucker-sealers. I put a weeks worth in a bag, suck/seal and freeze each one. Grind a day or two at a time and I'm good. :D

NEVER put anything in it. You wouldn't dilute a 20-year old scotch? Put A-1 on a good steak? Ice cubes in a good wine? Nothing in a good cup of coffee. :nono:

Sweet-n-low is only needed at places that serve BAD coffee.
And there is a LOT of them. :angry017:

I like my coffee the way I like my women.... Sweet and creamy! :D

I actually prefer cappuccino to coffee, but with either one I like French Vanilla.

....

NEVER put anything in it... You wouldn't ... Ice cubes in a good wine?

I guess that all depends on the box the wine comes in. :D

Black, Solo Negro, Nothing in it! As it should be... The only way... nothing but the coffee.

...If I do not use whole beans and fresh grind them I use Yuban Dark Roast or Louisianne with Chicory I've an uncle who has drank nothing but Lousianne with Chicory for decades... that and his Picayune cigarette habit hasn't killed him yet. Perhaps it's the coffee or the chicory, huh?
