Scott here. Been involved with firearms since about 1950 - owned and shot my own (Remington 511) since Oct. 31st 1954. I've been a collector since 1960. I like new forums - especially new gun forums - been around and a member of many. Hope to get to know you all a little bit in the near future.

Welcome aboard. I'm sure there a a few things we could learn from you and maybe some things we can teach you. Though probably not
But feel free to relax and post away. We have a good group of people here, but there's always room for more :cool2:

Welcome Scott, nice to see you here. You have been a busy guy lately! Have not seen much of you around that other place in web-land-GB!
Sit a spell and let us know what you have been up to!

Well, I never really had any idea what it takes to put a major motion picture studio together. I THOUGHT I had an inkling ... but I continue to factor in the 'times ten factor' whenever I’m in a hurry or need something quick!
We are still using what may be a temporary name - Golden State Studios - but it's better than no name at all. We are still targeted at an initial start up crew of 3500 - and I'm still all over the net daily asking questions and running down perspective infrastructure guys and gals. The fastest we've been able to manage is just one half notch above a 'snail's crawl' - and I've learned to really dislike lawyers - all those jokes about what bottom feeders/dwellers they are ... all true! ... well, except for ours, of course!
It's been almost a year - last Christmas since I actually went out and bought a new gun - and come to think of it - I didn't do that, either! It was a Christmas present. I've only shot it once since I got it - and I think that’s the last time I shot anything that goes BANG!
However, much I sound like I'm complaining ... it's still all fun and a blur of a hoot! So much to learn - so little time! ... I do regret I'm not 32 instead of 62! I'm going to need another 62 years to 'learn the trade,' properly!
I'm looking forward to spending some nice relaxing downtime here.
