Yup,

Sure is. That was in March '06 During a class I was teaching. Basic Tactical Operator or as we call it... SWAT 101. 2nd day. Active shooter in a school scenario. I was, as always, the BG. We use airsoft for simulation. The smile on my face is from totally wiping out 8 members of a local SWAT team (who shall remain nameless) who came into the class, pissed everyone off due to their arrogance, and acted like they were better than everyone including the instructors. They were.... educated after I took them out, one by one.

My gear was very close to theirs. I quietly took their rear guard out (because he was looking forward instead of guarding the rear:nono:) with a knife. I silently worked my way all the way up to the lead team member, tapped him on the shoulder :poke:, and waited. He looked behind me seeing all of his team members weren't there. He asked me (thinking I was one of his team), "Where is everyone?". I answered with :kickrock: :2gunsfiring:. "In heaven, just like you."

You kind of remind me of an instructor I've had for a few classes.

Airsoft is an excellent training tool. When I did scenario training that's what we used and it certainly gives you a new perspective. Live, moving, attacking targets puts you in a whole new game. I'd love to be able to that kind of stuff regularly.

Coming from even the BF, the place is like a minefield for the unexpecting who are used to a fairly relaxed forum environment. Yes, I spend some time over there... carefully that is. It's a very regimented and structured and rigid place where adherence to the "house rules" is paramount. But... it's not my house and I'm mature enough to handle that part. Needless to say, the grammar police are out in force, you won't find any pics of pretty "wimmen" and for pete's sake, don't go posting anything where it doesn't belong.

As a sampling of the extreme nature of this seemingly autocratic manner, take a look here...

LOL! Great minds think alike. I was thinking of adding a text bubble with him saying "and over here, ladies is where I will show you the meaning of good vibrations". The dude is a total perv, just look at his shoes!

Trigger-Welcome, I just made the jump from the BF too. The good guys (even ones pretending to be BGs) are always welcome. Awesome picture, and even better story.
