I got a new toy!

I've been looking to get a snub-nosed .38 +p for carry 'cause my Kimber is getting MUCH too heavy, so hubby bought this one for me.

Smith & Wesson 442 J-frame. It only weighs 15oz, and I hardly notice that I'm carrying it.

Only downside - 'cause it's so light - those .38+p's hurt like a b!tch when fired, and the DA pull is tight. Not that it's a problem 'cause it's purely for self-defense.

I practice with my 442 using standard .38 loads ...but carry it with +P

Yes i do practice some with +p but with a standard load .38 you will be suprised at how acurate that 442 is ...
