Just bought a new Galco vertical shoulder rig in black. I had my eye on a Miami Classic, but there's something about carrying a gun pointing at people behind me that really turned me off.
I just hope it doesn't print as bad as the cheap POS nylon rig I have now.

Depending on the what gun you bought it for, I can't really see a printing issue unless it is something really big. I have a couple of the Jackass rigs and I love em. I can carry my fullsize M9 or 96 without a big printing issue, so you should be just fine.
Congratz on a very fine holster Bro

Cool deal then. I did a little brand research before I bought it. I like the fact I can switch holsters on it. With the 96 I carry I wouldn't be too worried about the jackass rig, but with a Glock or any DAO I'd be a bit nervous with it I think.

I'm gonna get the DeSantis NY undercover leather rig. I like the horizontal position, hey...at least it's not pointed at you!:p

Well I have carried my 5' tact XD-40 in a jackass rig with no prblems at all. But to be honest I have a bit of a gut so that may make some difference, but I never had any printing problems even with the XD.
I have a vertical holster but need to get a new harness and a double mag carrier and will be gtg with my 3rd Galco rig. Got to love Galco :Peace!:

I may end up getting a Jackass nest. They look easier on the draw at least.

Damn! The rig I paid for a few days ago is now a no go. I bought from a company on ebay. Wasn't a great deal, maybe $10 cheaper than other places I looked, but I received an email today refunding my money. Their inventory was screwed up. No big deal really at least they didn't string me along.
I am thinking though that maybe a Miami Classic II will be the new purchase...

I would get the Miami classic 2, but they don't make any shoulder system for the px4, you have no idea how many new product suggestion forms I filled out under different names for them to make it in a px4 holster...no idea:lol:
I am restricted to getting the DeSantis New York Undercover rig, but man that's nice too, but expensive!

Desantis makes good holsters too. You should save for another gun or 2. Get a Glock 17 and a Beretta 92. There's a ton of holsters available for each of them.
I gave up on getting cool holsters for the PX4.

Just give it a little time JK. I had to wait about 6 mos with my XD to get one. I think they like to follow gun sales before investing time and resources into making a holster for any particular model. It's just good business sense. Hang in there and I am sure you see that they'll have a holster for you in a few months.
They really are nice, and well worth waiting for in my book.

I guess this means I'm not the only one to like crossdraw & shoulder holsters. My problem with strongside carry of any type is I'd be flashing every time i went for my wallet. An after 20 years i doubt i could switch from carrying my wallet anywheres other than my right back pocket. As for small of the back, i just KNOW that'd be very uncomfy when ya sit down

I love shoulder rigs, will be receiving my new one tomorrow for for my 1911's...
I also like SOB and IWB, but between the weight of all steel guns and having literally no ass at all to help hold my pants up, I find it hard to wear most holsters except the shoulder rigs.
