I'm thinking about selling the newly aquired HK45 to get a Springfield 1911 Loaded. I just don't like Da/Sa systems..not saying I'd never buy another but think I'd prefer the Loaded over the HK45,,,would be a pretty even swap value wise.

I have several from the Loaded series. Excellent guns! They come with warnings though... Firing them one time will addict you to them forever. :)

I would do it. I love the feel of a 1911, it's molded to my hand perfectly. The trigger/safety I know I would love, but I need to get over the cocked and locked thing, but after that hurdle, there is not much to dislike about the 1911! Did I say it's the best feeling gun in my fat stubby hands?

Cocked and Locked is like being in an elite club! You have no idea how many people squirm when you tell them about carrying cocked and locked! LOL
