View Full Version : Here's what I'm thinking...

I'm not sensitive to nudity or adult things in general, but I do realize some are.
On one hand I feel if someone doesn't like something, nothing says they have to look. On the other hand it's pretty easy for people to innocently click a link and see something they don't want to.
Even though, I believe I made that point pretty clear on the index page, I'm wondering if we should do one of two things to make everyone happy?
1. if we're gonna post something racey, put something like NSFW in the title, or something warning people there may be something there they may not want to see.
2. Maybe I should set up a new user group and add a few forums only members of that group can see and post to. The people in that group will be there by choice and can post whatever they without worry.
What do you guys think?

I personally don't care about stuff like that(a few exceptions, gay crap for instance) but I also see where some people(soccer moms:D) would. I will let you guys decide. But if anyone thinks like me, keep it the way it is until someone complains. Maybe I went a lil far posting a open nipple:laugh:, but I had to respond...I couldn't get beaten by David twice;).
Well, everyone what do you think? I would say keep it the way it is but don't do anything too racy...what I posted I consider getting into the gray area. I didn't even notice the nipple was out until it was posted, just noticed the legs;)
Members what do you think?

That was the whole booby and a hint of clam in there, fella.
That stuff doesn't bother me at all, just don't post anything sexually explicit. Not because I don't like it or don't want it posted, but because of the law. Bare breasts are not considered sexually explicit, BTW.
The 2257 labeling and recordkeeping regulations are very harsh now thanks to John Ashcroft and posting something sexually explicit you do not have hardcopy records of, proving the models age, can get you into some serious hot water.
Just putting that out there for you guys, so be careful.

I think for now the "poster, postee" should type NSFW prior to posting. But eventually a separate section of a "almost anything goes" would be a bit more appropriate. Basically, if one enters that particular section and sees a boobie or some growler, then they got what they asked for.:violin:

My feeling on this are simple. if something is put in the title saying that this thread contains nudity that should be enough. To be honest I am tired of hearing people complain about something just because they can. Just like on the TV, if you don't like what you see you don't need to watch. And yet people will still watch it so that they can complain.
My opinion, if you don't like it don't look. No one is making you look. We are all adults here and we should be able to act accordingly.

We are all adults here I think (at leasst Chronologically and my gf swears I am 12 sometimes) and a warning should be enough if you don't want to look. But others made find and peruse the site so may an "adult" section of some sort just in case unless all feel the posted warnings are not enough

As long as NSFW is in the title, I don't care what is posted.

Had to google NSFW, it makes sense to put that in the title. But like my pic battle, I guess I could go back and pop that in. That was a thread not intended to be NSFW;) but someone:pat9xu: had to go ahead and out do me big time ;). i Sounds like most of you agree to NSFW so...sounds like a rule. Only problem I see is when a thread does not mean to be NSFW, but it is when someone posts something like what I posted...I guess we will go back and change the title after the fact.
