It appears NASA lost in court, and now has to "search" for documents on the 1965 Keckburg,PA ufo incident. I am sure more lies and deceit will be spewed so this is not a win really, no one can stop them from hiding info, since they are the ones that have to find the information.
For the back story on the Kecksburg, PA case, I will do my best to remember the case for you. But of course you can find this story in newspapers/internet for yourself, I will keep it short.
Around 5pm, on Dec. 9th 1965, an object was seen streaking across the sky over the great lakes(coming from NW Canada), seen over Michigan,Ohio, and eventually people here in PA saw the object. In Kecksburg, people reported seeing the object (they described it as a fire ball) traveling slowly, making semi sharp turns and then coming down on the side of a mountain hillside. Within minutes a woman, last name kalp(just remember the last name) called into a local radio station after hearing about a downed plane in the Kecksburg area, telling the radio station it landed near her home about 1/2 miles away, they thanked her and hung up. 2-3 minutes later she was on the phone with one of her friends talking about the "downed plane" and she got a emergency call from the air force, and they cut off the womans conversation to tell her to wait at home, and if she happens to see "anything funny" call this number. She asked "shouldn't I call the fire department or state police?", they said "No, call us and we will call them". The small town would soon be under martial law with MP's on every corner.
So within minutes State police arrive with 2 guys in trench coats. They go in with a radiation detector(forget the name) and in 15 minutes they come back and started setting up a perimeter. At this time the local fire dept. was searching for the object, they found it and all described an acorn shaped object, 8-10 feet tall,6-7 feet wide,goldish/bronzish colored, and had something close to Egyptian hieroglyphics on the side "bumper" and it was partially buried in the soft earth.
The firemen then saw 2 men in trench coats come down to the object, they looked at the object, looked at them and said "this is a restricted site, and to get out". The military then set up a temporary communications base at the kecksburg fire dept, and kicked all the firemen out so they could use it for a few hours. Next witness's see a white box(smaller than the object itself) being brought down into the side of the mountain where this thing crashed, then people later see a flatbed truck with the object(tarp was pulled tight and many people report seeing the bottom of the bumper outline through the tarp).
And that is the very basic story. It is important to note that there WAS a meteor that night, that is not questioned. What is questioned is the people near Kecksburg(many saw this) reported the was moving very slowly and turned multiple times. Pilots saw this object and all of them thought it was a plane on fire going down(pilots over Ohio and PA). Many people thought at the time it was a Russian space capsule, a meteor, or some sort of alien spacecraft. It is interesting to note also the writing on the "bumper" of the acorn shaped object reported by every fireman who saw this object.
