That is the best oil to use to lube and clean it? it oil or grease recommended for the cam? another thing I was told I could convert it to a model G what does that mean and how does it affect the gun?

I don't think there is a "best" oil(Beretta says to use Beretta oilio), but I use Militech-1 oil and Militech-1 grease on the block tooth/cam track. The grease is better for that area and stops "trigger sting" from pissing off your trigger finger(it's the harmonics at play in the gun transferring to the trigger and making a slightly painful "sting" ".
When you convert to a G model, the safety/decocker now only acts as a deckocker and not a safety. I want to do mine soon but keep the large batwing levers, you can change them out to the slim levers but I like the larger controls personally.

I have used almost everything, and the Militech is the way to go. If you dont have any, you can request a free sample from them.

If you wann'a see a side by side pic with the bat wings and slim levers let me know,,I put the slim levers on,,to me if your gaonn'a go G thang why would you want the larger controls,,they're bulky and useless,,last time I checked you decock and your done unless you play with your gun all day.
