Would one have to pay $50 to overnight it to them since it's a frame? I want to get rid of the 27's glock hump, and also I hate the finger grooves since I have fat fingers and the pointy part of the groove "pokes" into my finger, I imagine on recoil it might be painful. I will take the 27 to the range in the next week(probably this weekend), if I like the actual gun, minus the grip I may just send it off to them, however if it's gonna cost me $50 each way then it's not worth it, for that much money I should have went ahead and bought a HK sub p2000...

Just installed a Hogue slip on grip, feels way better. I may try a "do it yourself" grip modification the old fashion way with a file and sandpaper:happy:. At least the Hogue grip cushions the finger grooves...I wish my fingers fit those finger grooves...

Congrats on the Glock. I may get a G19 if they come out with the RTF version.

WAIT TILL YOU SEE THE PICS
the RTF didnt bother me because of changing the grips, and I dont like the half moon serations on the slide, but a glock is a glock.

pm sent LLL for pic.'s
Jason don't do anything til you shoot the gun for awhile,,,you may get used to the grip angle... as far as the trigger,,yes the serated trigger that comes on the compacts suck,,,just get the smooth trigger,,, I can install it for you if you don't want to detail strip your frame ,,but it's easy.
G19 ,,,I'm waiting for the RTF as well
I cant push the grip reduction harder, BEST investment I made, if I hadnt been working so hard to get berettas up to speed( which you can spend a 1000.00 and a out of the box glock will still out shoot it) and done this sooner, Id still have my 23 and 27....... DOH!!!!!!

That does look good but I'd keep the finger grooves,,,,I'd do it if the grip angle bothered me

I belive he can leave the finger groves, and in JK sitition leave one finger grove, and just take the back off, I know the texture looks ugly, but its real effective, once you grap it it aint going no place. My texture is aggressive back and front with mild on the sides(his advise) and he was right on.
Now that I had some time to look at them, I think the second one(19) is a little better.

Those pics look pretty nice. I of course will shoot the gun first to make sure I like the gun and see if it's worth putting some money into. However, the front finger grooves(really just the first one) has to go, I can deal with the Glock hump if I have too but it was very stupid putting such sharp, abrupt finger grooves on this generation of glocks(not everyone's hand fits them so why would they make them so sharp?). I'm gonna try to make it to the range today and give the 27 a little work out if I have time.

put at least 2O0 thru for a good break in, its not ammo particular that I noticed. The police use hydra shock, so thats a afe bet.

that sure fire light on the side looks hideous..
Not wild about the grip reduction, this is the first time I have ever seen it done.
As far as the 27, how about throwing a GAP floorplate on it to see if that would help.
I love my subs...and I have big hands

I thought the same thing, but it grows on you, it allows you to turn on and off with the weak hand(not the trigger finger) and you dont have to turn it on permanently, find target push with thumb, and BANG....one dead bad guy.
Ive seen others that use cords, something to get tangled up and the other way which is switch on, switch off, again no instant on,off.
Its ugly, but grows on you, kinda like a GLOCK. LOL
