I can't seem to sleep past 0500 hrs now. Since I kept a Spartan-like schedule at Moyock, I had started going to sleep around 2200 hrs and naturally waking up around 0500. Ain't that a bitch? I'd better go take a sleeping pill or something. I got absolutely nothing to do now since I'm technically suspended until BW can get their world squared away. Honestly, I think they are going to get the boot out of Iraq and will have to leave by 1 January 08. It sucks for the team now. Hopefully the FBI will clear their name. I saw the photos of those trucks and they took a good amount of fire so my former co-workers were not lying about it. Unfortunately, this entire incident has labled Blackwater Operators as Mercenaries. As if we graduated from a mercenary school. Hell, just look at the South Africans with Executive Outcomes killing off 150k folks in 6 months. Those guys were mercenaries. They killed everyone.
As Erik Prince said on 60 Minutes, "I'm an American working for America." Until we cross that line, we are just security contractors. Oh well, they still have the Afghanistan contract for a good while unless they get pulled too. I won't go back there unless there is no other option. Afghanistan is about the most desolate place I've ever been too. No creature comforts at all unless I get in the US Embassy at Kabul or Islamabad in Pakistan. Pakistan isn't too bad, beautiful women too.
