I am getting an itch, the reviews seem great(not only on buds...) and the price is right. I hear Taurus is hit and miss with quality/reliability but there are many myths/BS in the gun world so I take everything with a grain of salt. This seems to be a heck of a value for everything you get. What do you 1911 guys think of the PT1911 in stainless? Any other 1911 I like are about a grand or higher, this seems to offer the same meat and potatoe features...thoughts?

I have a blued PT1911 and I love it! I would buy a stainless version in a heartbeat if only my budget allowed!

I agree that the Taurus PT-1911-A1 is a great ‘out-of-the-box’ configuration; and I do like the fact that it came with so many upgrades! at a competitive price!
