WTF? Not a soul had any comments on my long, labor intensive, typed joke about the Marine and the Iraqi Amphibious Landing in '91 ...

BTW: I PM'd Toeman and he and I are still cool. I thought he was pissed when I reminded him of all the shit in Lebanon in 1983-84. He wasn't pissed. He's just been working very hard lately and hasn't got to the computer much. He busts my balls, I bust his. It's a lovely sibling/interservice rivalry thing. I think all service members do that to poke at the other guy. Especially in private military contracting. If an all Army team got Toe, we'd torture him but that means we'd actually liked him. He's a good guy.

Hmmm...no one read it. Waaaaaaa! :angry017:

On the bright side, I got the plumber here snuggled in my couch downstairs. Got to take care of the pipes now...even though she caught a cold from one of her students. It's the gift that keeps on giving but what a way too go. As a Sinatra tune goes..."You make me feel so young..." she really does that. I make her feel like an Olympic athlete.

Gimme a holler. It's lonely in the forum lately.

Just been a nasty couple of weeks. Hopefully things are smoothing out a bit and I should have a bit more computer time. Not ignoring you, or anyone else for that matter on purpose. Life has been a bumpy ride recently.
Keep posting, you make me laugh when little else does.

Easy Tommy...

That was one of the best scenes in that movie... Yet the worse acted by Liotta.

I haven't seen it in awhile but didn't DeNiro do that when he played Capone in "The Untouchables"? Didn't they have a conference and he used that line and killed a guy with a baseball bat?
