Any of you folks ever build a Caspian 1911? What do you think of the quality of the parts?

You can buy a stainless frame for around $200, a stainless slide for around $200, and piecework the rest in parts of you choice. They claim to be made of the best quality metals. If you can build a high end 1911 for around $600-$700, I'm in. Trouble is, I can't find many unbiased opinions.

My local gun shop that I frequent builds custom 1911s, so they aren't interested in selling me other brands. There is a Caspian section on 1911Forum.com, but those guys are hook, line, and sinker for the brand so I am reluctant to trust them fully. I'd love to handle some parts for myself.
