Kroner, you guys forgot about those other semi-autos that FN makes...
FNP-9 & FNP-40 & FNP-45...

And the FNP-9M, a compact 9mm version...

There was a version of the Browning HP pistol also previously imported under FN's name - yes, they make the HP for Browning. My local gunstore has some NIB for sale now. They also made a version of the FNP for Browning, which is no longer in Browning's current line.
Perhaps you might want to remove the "Five-seveN" reference in the FN section header?

Jason... doggonit... that wuz quick!!! :2gunsfiring:
I've thought about buying one of these previously... my local gunstore was selling the Browning version for a tad over $400. Tonight I see that Browning has dropped this one from their lineup... might have something to do with FN not carrying the High Power in their line anymore.
What I've read about the FNP (and the Browning version) is they are solid shooters, reliable... don't break any new ground... but are well built for a polymer frame gun. It's also available in a SAO and DAO in addition to the DA/SA variant. I see too that they've introduced a .45 ACP version of the FNP pistol. The compact 9mm might be one to take a serious look into.

The FNPs are great guns - have an awesome trigger pull.
The FN version comes with 3 mags. The Browning comes with 2, but it is my understanding that the standard Browning version can be cocked and locked. The FNs cannot unless U get the SAO variant.

I noticed that the FN version came with 3 mags while looking at them again last night... that's very attractive. Didn't know about the trigger pull, though. Thanks!!! Now, a FNP in their SAO variant would be calling my name!!!

The SAO is hard to find - only 1 member at my FN Forum has one, and everyone is looking for them.

That's not good news at all!!! :nono:
Do you know of any user feedback on the FNP-45? Looks like a different frame on it... definitely the hand grip area looks different.

Well, the FNP 45 isn't out until later this year - and some of the pics we've seen may not be the final product. So, we have tow ait and see.
I do wish that the grip and features of the gun matched the 9 and 40 versions instead of being different.
