Picked it up Saturday, but haven't had a chance to shoot her yet, but I'm hoping to get to the range on Wednesday. I'm really happy. This is a very well made and sturdy firearm, but she definitely needs some breaking in as everything is really tight! Just pushing the slide release is a major chore!!!

I want to buy some more mags, but they seem to be sold out everywhere I've looked. Defensive ammo is also scarce. I managed to buy 50 Federal Hydra-shoks, and 100 Gold Dot 230gr. Fortunately I have a fair amount of "practice" ammo.

I'm still trying to come up with the best name for her.........

Well, you know what I think... I love it! :) Is that front strap checkered?

For mags I buy Wilson Combat 47D 8 rounders and have had great success with them. Pricey, but quality mags. They usually run around around $35 each at MidwayUSA.

Congrats, that's a real beauty!!

Thanks! Yes the front stap is checkered, as it the back, and it has the Tritium night sights. I can't wait to shoot it...... :D

I will look into those Wilson mags.
