Hey all, I am new to these forums just signed in an hour ago. I have just recently picked up a new PX4 9mm. I have not witnessed any trigger sting like I read in the posts below, and I am sorry you have had such a problem with that. It could be because mine is the 9mm, or because I am usually in warm temps when shooting it....hopefully my good fortune with it continues. I take good care of it and lube it regularly.
Anyhow I guess the question I had was about upgrades to this gun. I would like to get the hogue slip on grips (maybe), but I definatly want to put some real night sights on it as well as a laser sight/flashlight for tactical type use. I basically want to deck it out, but am having a real hard time finding these type of upgrades. I once saw a pic of green laser that also mounted a flashlight on it, but I forgot what type of brand that was. Other than the hogue slip ons, can anyone send me some links to where to find the best night sights for the top slide, and the best type laser/flashlight addons. Also do they make a .22 conversion for these guns yet?? I want to deck this puppy out as much as possible so please post ideas of any possible upgrades, their advantages, and links to where such things can be found. Im having a hard time finding upgrades using search engines. Thanks a bunch guys, Dave

P.S. I just ordered a Springfield XDm .40 cal and Im really excited about getting that. It will be my first 40 and I'm pumped about getting it..but I still want to deck out my Px4.

Hmm.. If memory serves me correctly you can convert the PX4 to a "G". Not sure of any other fucntion upgrades.

This is the light I have for my guns, http://www.streamlight.com/product/product.aspx?pid=81

It's got a red laser, but is a very bright light and extremely wel built.

The best night sights would probably be Trijicon. http://www.trijicon.com/user/parts/products1.cfm?PartID=533&back_row=0&categoryID=7

You can get a green laser if you really want one. Lasermax sells one that fits on the accessory rail. http://www.lasermax.com/product.php?id=127

For the Slip on grip another forum member Jkroner will be along ,,he has them on on his Px4,,
you can turn your Px4 into a Decock only like a Sig,

Night sights either Trij or mepro light,,,I use mepro lights,,theres really no differance but the mepro's are cheaper.

Buying direct from manufactuere is usually more expensive,,,you can get them off ebay and just type a google search for either night sight and you'll find plenty

I really like the Hogue slip on grip on the PX4(I put it over the small backstrap), really makes a great feel. The Trijicon night sight model you are looking for are BE-10, do a ebay search for them(search "px4 night sights") and you will find a seller called "optics planet", he has the best deals on them you will find. And the laser with the green light that also has a rail attached is called a "Laser max", never used it or any other gun light so I can't give you any advice on that but Surefire and Streamlight are the 2 companies to trust when it comes to gun mounted lights.

Yeah, Optics Planet is a good seller. You can go right to their web site and bypass ebay all together too. I've bought from them several times.
