Have my barrel currently soaking in White Vinegar, has been soaking for about 2 hours,,another hour than wipe down and soak in Baking soda and water to neutalize acid from vinegar ,,than a rinse down in water,,
last step will be polishing to whatever shine I want with some polishing compound .

Will only be a light polish as I don't want a high shine,more of a nickel look ,,,,

The process doesn't damage the Tenifer used on the barrel to prevent rusting ,just removes the black finish
