Bass Pro had a sale tonight. All sorts of free stuff - food, drinks, giveaways, etc...
In theory these things are cool. In practice it seems to attract morons just looking for free stuff. No lines at the check outs, but the place was pretty much packed.
I went there for the double points being offered tonight. My smoker went out on me on Thanksgiving so I wanted to replace it... Otherwise I would have stayed away from there until after the new year!
As soon as I through the door these idiots just stopped in the middle of the aisle to situate their freaking baby in the basket. Couldn't go around to right because every kid in the city was just standing there stuffing their faces with the free food... Couldn't go left because of a display. So it was either wait until the idiots moved or ask them to politely mover their ass out of the way... Of course I knew they would get pissy simply because they were dealing with a baby.
So I stand there for a second and they see me looking at them, they knew there holding not only me up, but the people behind me. Finally I say, you know if you take like 4 steps forward you'll be out of everyones way!
They moved and off I went. I decided to grab some ammo and look at the guns while there. I went to the counter, but couldn't see one whole case because there 2 guys were leaned up against them just talking. I go grab the ammo then off to the smokers...
Nice! All of this and they are completely out of the models I want. They did have a much better one I'd kill for, but for $1700 it better come with pretty date! :lol:
I said screw it and went to the check out... Didn't get what I went after, but 2 boxes of 250, 230 gr. .45 ACP cost me $208.00! :eek:
What is it with people that they believe stopping right in the middle of a busy aisle is a good idea? Would they stop in the middle of an expressway just to scratch their ass?
Maybe I'm just as much of an idiot for subjecting myself to that...
