S&W 442 .38 worth?

I have a S&W 442 for a little over a year now and I am looking at getting a J-frame .357 with a hammer. What do you think my 442 is worth? It shows a bit of wear, but still a good shooter.

You can usually get a good idea what you should look for by checking out some of the gun auction sites. For the blued 442 I've seen them around $350 and up to just under $500.

So used I'd imagine somewhere around $275 to $300 give or take depending on the wear.

Blue book guessing it to be around 90 -95%..

$245 .....So most shops trade in gonna give ya $200

Looking at my book it says excellant condition 275.00 so a tick under,,just had this book out the other day,,doesn't take me long to forget I have it ,lol

Gander Mountain said $170, which I thought was kind of low, since I bought it from them for $450. It shows wear, mainly because it is a blued gun, but still a good shooter...

I have one I never shoot, carry or even look at anymore. The only reason I don't try to sell it is because I know I won't get anything for it.

Will that Clip Draw rip the finish off if taken off or is it tapped and screwed on ?

I was thinking along the lines of $250 +shipping and I will throw in a desantis holster, and the longer hogue grip for it.. She does have some battle scars.
