Very nicely,,gonn'a get it bore sighted,,I have it pretty good but want to see if getting that done will get my groups a little better,, it may just be my ammo to but think it could get dialed in a little better,,Its a sweet scope for a lower end Nikon,,Lifetime warranty which is nice

Its no Leaupold, but for the money i like BSA line of scopes. I have a couple and have had no issues at all. Out to 300 yards BSA's are fine but anything any further is when the better glass pays off.

i have simmons 8 point and bsa like brman says out to 300 they both work wonderful
but i wouldn't recommend either for anything really big like a .50 cal .

.223 , 7.62x39 ., or .308
the cheaper work very good out to around 300

I own a lot of Leupolds. Mostly Vari-X II, and Vari-X III's. All are top rate performers. But lately I'm leaning more to Bushnell. Leupold still builds a great scope, but with that said they really haven't done much in the last couple of decades except rename their models, and shuffle them around. Some, like many of the newer VX-III line, have lost adjustable objectives. All are priced high.

I don't like the fact that on the VX-II models you still get a 2 piece tube. For what they are charging it should be one piece. Bushnell offers 1 piece tubes on models costing far less than what Leupold charges for the 2 piece VX-II.

Also, I think others manufacturers like Nikon, (Monarch X), and Bushnell, (6500 Elite), have been steadily improving, while Leupold has been treading water. Yes, they have come out with the new VX-7 model, but it is priced so high, (close to $2,000.00 retail), it is almost a speciality scope that will have low sales numbers. Especially with the sagging economy.

I just finished scoping out 2 new Savage bolt actions, (see bolt action forum, "Long Range Setup"), with the Bushnell 3200 Elite Tactical Model, and I couldn't be happier. This scope has great clarity and brightness that rivals any Leupold that I currently own. From now on when I select a scope Bushnell will be getting far more of my attention. They deserve it, and so does my wallet. Bill T.

Would love to find a reasonably priced PU scope and mount for my Mosin Nagant
