Need some reassurance...

I just changed my Tucker HF-1 to a non thumb break design. I was looking at the non-1911 holsters with thumb breaks and Tucker does them below the beaver tail area on the grip. I don't think I would like that...my DeSantis thumb break scabbard now has it on the beaver tail right behind the hammer.

Guys I know most, if not all of you don't like thumb breaks for belt holsters...I am just un-easy having a loaded gun with no thumb break to stop a grab if anyone try's. I am a big fella and can certainly defend myself but you just never know...I am not so sure about canceling the TB but I think I made a good decision since all of you do not like TB's...give me reassurance I made a good move by canceling the TB for the HF-1:limp:

Don't worry... actually I generally remove any TB on any CC holster I have (if the style I want is only available with one). Also I'm seeing more TB's that are simply rubber O-rings that are sewn to the holster with a little flap of leather and then have another little flap of leather sewn on it as a pull. If you get it and feel you absolutely have to have one... you could pick up a piece of scrap leather, sew a ~belt loop~ piece that would have an O-ring attached, then thread that on your belt behind the holster and then pull the O-ring up and over any part of the gun that sticks up... (hammer, beaver tail on a 1911, etc...)

but in that picture I (personally) think they have the O-ring pulled over too much of the gun.
That's the holster I use most often because it fits my 92G-Compact-L, 8045 mini-cougar, P99cAS (walther), any full size 92, S&W 3913... (I have the 13/15 size)

I have 2 OWB holsters that I use an open top for my P239 and a Blackhawk Serpa for my P220R carry. The Serpa has that locking button thingy for retention but nada on the the paddle holster for the P239. No TB on my IWB's. I do have a slide type Bianchi Blackwidow for the HK USP9 coming with TB but if that sucks for me it was 20 bucks shipped and will become a karma/raffle prize
