Not being able to use purchased software on more than one PC!

I spend 1000's on software and it seems the more money you pay the less usuage you get from it.

I just spent $500 on a program. Since I have 2 main machines, my office PC and my studio PC, I figured I'd put it on both so I could have it available when I needed it... NOPE! One install, one PC!

Another app from another company recently did the same thing. I used to be able to use it on both of my machines, but nooo theyn had to fuck with it!

I can understand companies not wanting someone to buy a program and share with everyone or a group of people buying one and sharing it on a tons of machines, but come on! 1 IP should be able have at least 2 installs!

Even Microshaft allows that much... With XP at least.

Actually MS XP Business was not allowed to download to my Daughter Laptop from my discs. I ran into the samer problem with Norton/McAfee trying to put it on her laptop and even on my own laptop when it was installed on our PC

It may be copyright infringement but I've found numerous codes and cracks in the serial number passwords for XP.

Windows 98 & 95 was easy.

Everything was 1's, the second column was 2's and the rest was 1's again.

XP has 6 different series of numbers. I'm not saying that you should...but you can.

Wink-wink, nudge-nudge.

I used to be the guy overseas finding cracks and serial numbers for the guys that wanted to share & copy games that someone brought from home.

Tiger Woods PGA was a popular one.
