LOL my brother is here on vacation so I don't have as much puter time:( but it's great to see him. He is a leo in kalifornia so we were looking at each others guns. He gave me his Kahr pm9 9mm to fondle and I gave him my px4...he then proceeds to slingshot the slide on an empty chamber when I told him not too, and he started to smile and and tease me that I thought it would hurt the gun:pissed:. I just don't like adding unnecessary wear and tear when not needed. So that was the first time my px4 was slammed home on an empty chamber. I think me and my baby will be ok.
His Kahr felt really dry, but anyway dam that phucking gun is small! I put it next to the px4 and it was like 3 times smaller...awesome carry gun, but I like having more power/capacity than 7 rounds of 9mm, just gives me that warm fuzzy...but anyway I wished he didn't have to mess with me by slamming the slide home on an empty chamber. He is not a gun nut, I think he just understands that the gun is part of his job but he knows some, but I think I know more and I only started a year ago:limp: Fuck why did he have to slam my baby's slide home makes me sick only because i treat that gun like a baby almost...never been dry fired without a snap cap and never has been slammed home empty like that before it's the little crap like that that bugs me...big brothers love playing with lil bro's emotions ;)

Geezzz... Jason... he's yankin' yer chain and doin' a pretty doggone good job of it. :poke:
I don't think it will hurt your Beretta for the slide to be dropped on an empty chamber on rare occasion. Granted, frequently done such will mess things up. On a 1911A1, such can absolutely ruin a good sear and trigger job.
So... here's what you do... after your brother goes to sleep, take his Kahr and run it thru the dishwasher. Remember, you were just cleaning it for him. ;)
Don't like that idea? How about "mistakenly" lubing his slide and frame rails with superglue? Yeah... damned shame that tube was laying right next to your good gun oil. :p
I believe we (as gun afficionados... a.k.a.- gun nuts) sometimes have the false impression that all LEO types are as passionate about firearms as we are. Nothing could be further from the truth. To many, it's just another tool- and in truth, no doubt a small part of being a successful law enforcement officer.

Exactly... I was very surprised to learn how many LEO's don't even know how and/or when to clean their gun.

The range we used to belong to you had to "qualify" to be able to come in and shoot as member with no supervision. It was hit a 30"x30" paper target anywhere with 5 shots in a row the only 2 guys that did not qualify that I know of were both LEOs (I saw one miss with 2 shots). The one I sawfought having to qualify because as he said "I am a LEO and shoot great"

It's possible he did shoot great. Drew the gun, proper grip and trigger pull... That's great, but doesn't mean he could hit the broad side of a barn though. :D

Well, um...... that then would be me!:wavey:
when it comes to those pistol thingy's, the most common phrase outta my mouth when tryin to shoot em is " Now where the hell did that round go?":banghead: and we even leaned the target stand up against a (no shit here) old red barn............. missed em both!
BTW hey jk, i hear the grips on PX4's work great for scrubbing oven racks? can i borrow yours?:pat9xu::poke:
