My AR is almost finished

My dad suprised me tonight and handed me an upper for my lower. Although not exactly what I was wanting, I am very happy with it. The upper is a Bushmaster patrolman 16" upper.

now I just need a rear sight and magazines, and I'm ready for the range.

One of the best parts is that after I put it together I showed my wife, and she said "it's not that scary". Shocked me comming from a person that hates guns, let alone "assult rifles".

Nice, like I said elsewhere, me personally, I would put a handle(forget actual term) under the barrel and add an eotech for a sweet ar.

yeah, I'd like a vertical grip ;), a light, eotech/aimpont, and sling.

Right on! You can get a flip up rear sight for about $50 for a good one.

Throw an EOTech on there, stock up on 30 round mags and ammo then let'er rip. :)
