They are to expensive for any and everything have piss poor attitudes and the worlds worst customenr sevice (even worse the the off shore ones in India).

Well 2 weeks ago we dumped them for the internet, it was not fast than Verizon DSL in our area and more expensive. Today they install Dish TV and we lose the Comcast vulture for our TV as well. Good riddance to to poor service and over pricing :Peace!:

This is actually hilarious that you mention this because I am doing exactly the same thing!

I have cable, internet and digital phone, all with comcrap. They get paid over $200 a month for everything, but can't seem to make everything work all at the same time.

I'm not that worried about the phone really, but I do need the net and I likes my TV viewin'. :) I'm not sure where to go for the net. DSL really isn't fast enough and the broadband all comes in on comcraps lines, so the choices are very limited with the net.

TV will likely go back to satellite pretty soon and Vonage may get the phone. Unless it's like the net, powered by comcrap and the billing just comes from Vonage...

BTW... Smokin new avatar! :D

Thanks for the zeal about the avatar. Think they'd let me use it on the Beretta Forum?

Verizon has a new Higher speed DSL that works as well for me as comcrap did. Alsothey are installing FIOS (Fiber Optic) It has hit some areas (not mine yet) but they will eventuallu be able to do TV, Phone and Interner on FIOS. You can check for the FIOS for your area on line. Have been thinking of Vonage but Verizon Freedom plan gives us all call local, toll and LD for one flat rate and they have good customer service so for Complete Phone and internet our bill is now 65 to 70 a month plus the obscene federal fees and taxes. Comcast for Internet and HDTV Premiuum package was almst 150.00. And the DirectTV with the same premium channels and more options and more HD is 60 a month.

So I am figure on going fromabout 230 a month down to under 140

I'm running with COX Cable...
They have fiber in most of Tulsa but converts back to coax to enter the homes. I don't bother with digital cable 'cause I don't watch TV that much but I do have VOIP phone service (that is though AT&T though) but still, my cable, high speed internet, and phone is about 120/mth.
I work out of my house and have 3 or 4 PC's active on the network at any given time (depending on what my lady is doing) and I've got plenty of band width (and I believe my download rate is currently just 7 Mb/s but COX offers a faster speed (up to 12 or maybe 15 Mb/s in this area)... generally uploads are blocked back to 2 or 3 Mb/s to keep you from hosting a web site from your house without paying them the ~business~ rate)
