Just called to get an RA# to send my SA 1911 back in. I must say that was a very pleasant call. The lady I talked to was very friendly and professional.

I wish more big companies had people like her working for them... Excellent customer service skills. I think for the first time I'm gonna fire off a letter to corporate and tell them about it.

The one, and only, time I called SA was about my EMP 1911 9mm and some JHP feed issues after some 500 rounds. They were very very nice, and switched me to a gunsmith, who was also very nice, and in less than 10 mins, they took a report, gave me a shipping ID number (free shipment) for my gun, and the Gunny that I spoke with, too his attention..

But I never sent in my gun, as after another 200 rounds, and then trying some Flitz polish on the feed ramp, the JHP feed issue became mute..

Great guns, great company that stands (happily) behind them.

My second SA was perfect out of the box. I have no reservations about buying another SA. Great guns! In fact I'll buy a 9mm and 45 when they come with the XD-M in those calibers.
