I have a FN F2000. Anyway, it has one problem. Since this rifle is made for modern combat, everything is modular now and the only accessories are made for AR's. Been there, done that. I've brought this rifle with me a few times. It's overall loaded weight is now 14 lbs.

Anyway, it only has one rail. Just like the Beretta Storm. One long one on top. The only thing I've been able to do is that I found some 45 degree rails and attached them to give me a 90 degree angle along the right side. The left side has the cocking handle. I've mounted a pressure switch M3 Surefire with the 220 lumen bulb.

I'd like to mount it somewhere else since it kinda blocks out my right side periphrial (spelling?) FN's representative Bob Ailes said to me on the phone that the foregrip attachment will not be available in the states for a bit because it's going to Slovenia and other areas that they've sold them.

So...in light of that, I'm sure some of you have Beretta Storm rifle/carbines and would have some suggestions on what I could do to expand the rifle. Better yet. Let me show it too you.

I've seen photos where some fella dug a hole out of the potato grip handguard and shove his 6Z Surefire but I don't want to do anything to a rifle that cost me nearly $2k. I'm sure you understand. Even the Storm's short, 2 inch rails would not mount on it unless I interfered with the weapons internals. What would you do? This is how it's set up now. It's the best I could do without digging or cutting or screwing in something. This weapon is now a loaded weight of 11 lbs.

That is a beautiful Weapon. Wish I could suggest something other than do you have any contacts in Slovenia?

...saw it and said to sell it. He's on drugs.

Monolith Arms may have a piece built. I'm sure FN will come out with something soon.

I'm getting used to it so I'm not gonna cry about it.

Since the 40mm LV grenade launcher is probably out of the question.
You can't really mount much of anything off the barrel... even though it is 16" and extends well past the bulk of the gun, that has the forward ejection port and you don't want anything around it to ~catch brass~.
I think what you did with the light if good!
You could probably take a SWAN base, like an ARMS 07 http://www.armsmounts.com/catalog.php?action=124&item_id=4 attach a tube to it, then mount an ARMS #6 http://www.armsmounts.com/catalog.php?action=124&item_id=3 onto each side and the top of the tube...
you could still see ~through~ the tube to see the trijicon reflex and gain 3 mount points (or at leas one up above the reflex.)
Just a thought...

The parallax of the Trijicon Reflex would be so awful at 250 meter engagements though. I could just get the Trijicon-Doc Optic sight they have. The tri rail system for the AR wouldn't work. I talked to a guy at CAA about it. He says the tri rail that they have would have to be screwed in to the top rail and that would prevent my rifle from cycling correctly. It's just all in a small package.

I've heard that Monolith Arms have made a bottom tri-rail for it. However I've visited the site recently and it seems to be down. He had a tri-rail that had that finger protector like the PS90. I'm not sure I'd like that. I want to mount my dedicated Surefire foregrip too it and maybe having the option of putting on the AN-22 (I think) the infrared laser sight/or designating on the side. We'll see what happens. I think I'm gonna just hot glue some short rails on the stock so I can install a CAA mag holder rather than the spare loaded mag pouch.
