Custom grips

If you were to have custom grips made, what kind of wood or other material would you want them made from and what kind of design would you want on them? Plain, checkered, custom, etc...


Also, How much would you be willing to pay to have them made?

I wish someone would make aluminum grips that werent so expensive. The material is relativaly soft and not too expensive....some plain ones for my cz would be great, and i would be interested in seeing what a thumb rest set would look like.
If someone could make them for $30-40 I would jump on them.
Also think that acrylic grips would be cool, just something different.....

Marble:laugh:, really that would be cool, you don't really need "grippyness" on the grips as long as the front and back of the magwell is checkered or something like that. Smooth marble grips...hmmmm

I'm thinking more in the line of exotic woods or certain types of plastic.

Ebony, Purple Heart, zebra wood, etc...

I have some Aluminum grips being made for my 8045,,god knows when I will get them

I have a set of Rosewood checkered grips on my M9 and love em. Rosewood is also a very hard and durable wood.

I'd like a set of red grips for my P-01 - preferably rubber - and a set of red Hogues (wish they made 'em) for my GP-100.

Black and red is my thing.......... :D

I can see them on a cz, but I don't think they are right for all handguns

I like the Rosewood also but think the rubber ones give you the best control and are the best choice for the mag calibers.
